UK Roadster Nationals, UK Pick-Up and Van Nationals Sunday 3rd July 2011 Event report
Once again the sun shone on Twinwood and the cars and trucks as they arrived, some early but most from the opening time of 10am onwards. Dave, Lesley and Paul were delighted to see that so many people embraced the concept for Clapham Classic Events shows to come along and enjoy what is not just a car show but also to chillax-to-the-max. For some this meant a combination of checking out the amazing variety of vehicles on show, browsing around the museums, listening to the music, entering competitions and so on. Others just relaxed by their beautiful cars and enjoyed the atmosphere.
The free £300 prize-draw for which participant owners of Roadsters and Commercial vehicles were eligible to enter was won by 24 year old Scott Murphy who is the proud owner and builder (with the help of his Dad) of a superb blue 1931 Model B Roadster.
