Directions
From
the North
Follow the A6 from Rushden towards Bedford for approximately 7 miles
and continue through Milton Ernest. ¾ mile past Milton Ernest
turn left at the start of dual carriageway, signposted Oakley and
Clapham. After ¼ mile, go straight over mini roundabout at
the top of the hill and down the hill into Milton Road towards Clapham
for ¾ mile. At the roundabout, take the first exit into Twinwood
Rd. Follow Twinwood Rd for ¾ mile to the woods and turn right
on to the private road. Continue to Twinwood Arena and Glenn Miller
Museum. Do not follow Google or AA directions –they are wrong!
From
the South/ East / West
Follow signs into Bedford and pick up signs for A6 North towards
Kettering. After passing Sainsbury’s on the left, turn right
at the next roundabout signposted Clapham/ Yarls Wood. Stay on the
road for 2 miles through Clapham village until you reach the roundabout.
Take the 3rd exit into Twinwood Rd sign posted Yarls Wood and Glenn
Miller Museum. Follow Twinwood Rd for ¾ mile to the woods
and turn right on to the private road. Continue to Twinwood Arena
and Glenn Miller Museum. Do not follow Google or AA directions –they
are wrong!
